Giving to St John Payne
Thank you for thinking about supporting St John Payne Catholic Church.
Our parish depends on the generosity of parishioners, visitors and friends. Your giving helps us keep the church open, support parish life, care for our buildings and continue the mission of the Church in Greenstead, Ardleigh, Mistley and the surrounding area.
Every gift matters. Some people give regularly. Others give when they can. All support is received with gratitude.
The best way to give
The most helpful way to support the parish is by regular standing order, with Gift Aid if you are eligible.
Standing order giving helps the parish plan ahead, because it gives us a regular and reliable income. Gift Aid also allows the parish to claim extra money from HMRC at no additional cost to you.
If you would like to set up a standing order, please get in touch.

Give in church
You can also give when you are in church.
There is a Dona giving terminal at St John Payne, which allows card and contactless donations. From time to time, the terminal may also include options to support special parish fundraising projects.
Candle offerings
If you would like to light a candle in church, please place your offering in the box below the candle stand.
You can also make a candle offering using the Dona giving terminal.
Parish repository
The parish also has a repository, or small church shop, which sells a wide range of Catholic items.
Buying from the repository is a simple way to support the parish while finding cards, gifts and devotional items such as rosaries for yourself, your family or friends.
Gift Aid
If you are a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid can make your donation worth more to the parish at no extra cost to you.
The diocesan donation form includes a Gift Aid declaration. Please complete it if you are eligible.

St John Payne, pray for us.
