The Catenian Association is a lay society of Catholic men with some 8,000 members across the world. Founded in Manchester in 1908, there are now groups – known as Circles – active across the UK and Ireland, as well as countries as far afield as India, Bangladesh, Australia, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Malta. There’s even a Circle in Nazareth!
The Colchester Circle meets monthly to meet, pray and enjoy a meal together. We also organise a wide range of activities for members and their families, as well as raising funds for Catholic charities and good causes.
If you are a Catholic man and you would like to find out more about what we do, why not come to a meeting? We’re a friendly Circle and would be delighted to welcome you. All you need to do to get started is to call or text the Circle Membership Officer, Andrew Johnson on 07411 423795. He’s looking forward to hearing from you!
