Sometimes for us it is difficult to imagine what it is like not to have sufficient means to feed one’s family in a town like ours during a crisis. But this is happening all too often when families are faced with an extra burden on their income, or, no income at all for some weeks.

Colchester food bank is there to help these families in difficult times. and we, if we stop to think, can imagine what it is like to be hungry, in need of toiletries and household cleaning stuffs, and this is the most awful of thoughts. So, once a month we collect around 80 kg of food and toiletries together with a collection of in excess of £100 for our local food bank.
